The 2023 masterclass program includes a stop in the Netherlands: Heva organized two major events in Rotterdam and Uden last June 27 and 28.
—
The two Dutch Masterclasses – conducted by Fred Nijhuis – were dedicated to the presentation of PDO wines and agri-food products originating from volcanic terroirs and protected by appellations participating in the project: Consorzio Tutela Vini Soave e Recioto di Soave, Consorzio di Tutela Vini Lessini Durello, Union of Santorini Cooperatives – Santo Wines and Consorzio per la Tutela del Formaggio Monte Veronese.
Both events, in Rotterdam (June 27, 2023 | Hilton Hotel) and Uden (June 28, 2023 | Restaurant OONIVOO) were attended by a large group of journalists and trade operators to encourage the Dutch press to learn more about volcanic soils.
HEVA brings together territories in Veneto (Italy), and in Santorini (Greece): complex and fertile environments whose generous soils bear wines and cheeses distinguished by remarkably intense flavors, minerality, and surprising longevity.
