Heva will be present at the latest edition of Prowein, to be held in Düsseldorf from 19 to 21 March 2023.

HEVA, Volcanic Agriculture of Europe is the European project aimed at enhancing the PODs Santorini, Soave and Soave Superiore, Lessini Durello and Monte Veronese, which are protected by their respective consortia.
Prowein is the most important wine fair in the world, the ideal occasion to relaunch HEVA‘s promotional activities. The goal is to discover and delve into this very particular volcanic terroir that unites some of the best European PDOs: from the Greek island of Santorini to the hills of Soave, up to the Lessini Mountains where Durello wine and Monte Veronese cheese are born.
On Monday 20 March, at Hall 1, Stand A40, the European project, represented by the Soave and Lessini Durello associations (Hall 15, Stand F05) and by Santo Wines (Hall 17, Stand H14), will star in a masterclass entitled “HEVA – Heroes of Europe Volcanic Agriculture – Vulkanweine im Vergleich” (A comparison of volcanic wines), held in collaboration with the Swiss publication Vinum.
“Participation in ProWein,” says the President of the Soave Association, Sandro Gini, “represents a unique opportunity to promote some of Italy’s and Greece’s best volcanic wines paired with Monte Veronese cheese, and to raise awareness on the soil, history and people representing some of the most historic and interesting protected designations of origin in Europe.”
